The Liberator wedge may look like a basic piece of furniture, but it can make a huge difference to someone’s sex life. Due to the shape, it can give comfort and support to the user before, during and after sex.
Packaging
The Liberator boxes look great and have positional guides printed on them. The boxes are sealed with tape which can make it difficult for some people to open but without the tape they are easy to get in to.
Most of the foam shapes that Liberator sell arrive in a compressed form which may make you think you have been sold a dud, but once you’ve opened the box you will find a black bag that contains the foam. When packaged, about 90% of the air is removed from the foam to condense it into a really small shape but once opened it expand up to full size. These bags are not difficult to open. Once opened, there are two covers to put on the foam: one is the inner liner which protects the foam, the other is the outer Velvish cover. The covers are sealed in individual plastic bags which may need cutting to open. It was not too difficult to put the covers on but it was easier doing this before the foam had gone firm after expanding.
Appearance
The Wedge looks really good and is quite discreet as a piece of sex furniture. Due to its versatility, it can be used to make a variety of sex positions easier to perform and take the stress off some joints such as the knees, hips or wrists.
The Black label version of the wedge also has restraint points and cuffs included.

The versatility and discretion of the wedge means it can also be used as a support when laid in bed or on a settee. It takes the pressure off the lower back and hips.

The Cons
The price! The Liberator wedges are not cheap and have a RRP of £100 for the regular wedge and £140 for the Black Label edition. This may put some people off due to regular wedge cushions can be bought much cheaper. The big difference is the quality of the covers and that fact they are waterproof.

The Wedge is a great way of aiding someone have sex in a comfortable way and can take the stress off several joints. It may give the user the chance to try positions that they would not normally feel comfortable doing.
