Zoe Lloyd
Zoe became a wheelchair user 21 years ago when she became very ill with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Despite being a very positive, happy go lucky person, she had crises of confidence and identity issues about not being the fit active sporty person she once was. This led her into therapy and after seeing the positive transition in herself, she decided to become a counsellor. Zoe manages the Love Lounge.
Jennie Williams
My name is Jennie Williams, I am the Director and Founder of user led disability charity Enhance the UK, and I have degenerative hearing loss. My hearing loss is believed to be linked to a heart condition I have called long QT, which is otherwise known as sudden death syndrome.
Ted Shiress
Ted Shiress is and has been many things to many people and has partially succeeded in at least some of them. As a guy with Cerebral Palsy in his thirties he has definitely had his fair share of lessons, and he is here to let his unique take on life guide his answers to your Love Lounge queries!
Katherine Sellors
Katherine is an occupational therapist and she qualified in 2020. She has been interested in supporting accessible sexual expression since university and has been working with Undressing Disability ever since.
Sarah Stephenson-Hunter
Sarah is a totally blind trans woman who seeks to break down barriers for disabled and LGBTQ+ people through speaking, training and coaching. She has experience of dating and being in relationships both pre and post-transition and is re-entering the queer dating scene in her early 50s.
Jignesh Vaidya
Jignesh Vaidya, otherwise known as Jiggy, is a wheelchair user who had Polio at the age of 3. He is unable to walk. and has had relationships with both non-disabled partners. Jig become a father at the age of 50.
Leon Smith
Leon (they/them) has navigated transitioning into poly and pan sexuality over several years, with experience in many forms of love and relationships. As a young black man supporting their community and inspiring people to explore their own sexuality without prejudice.
Ella Hopkins
Ella is a Senior Registered Practitioner and has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist both in the NHS and Private Practice since graduating from Southampton University in 2006. Ella has experience in Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal and Neurological Physiotherapy. Ella also has a special interest in Strength and Conditioning training, hydrotherapy, and teaches Matwork and Reformer Pilates. Ella’s clients are both disabled and non-disabled.
